Greys River

Half-Day Tour

Jackson Hole’s Best Kept Secret

Deep Powder, Zero Crowds

Trip Overview

Travel off-the-beaten-path and ride along the banks of the icy Greys River, into the Wyoming Mountain Range wilderness. Unforgettable scenery and fabulous riding in one of Wyoming’s best kept secrets are what makes this trip so unforgettable!
This half day snowmobile adventure starts at our office in the town of Jackson where we will get you suited up with all of the outerwear. You will then travel 35 miles south of Jackson by van to the Greys River trailhead. This is a beautiful drive down through the Snake River Canyon; keep your eyes peeled for bald eagles, elk and Mountain Goats!
Your guide will give you an introduction on the snowmobile and go over the safety protocols and you will hop on the snowmobile and will follow the trail right alongside the river. The Greys River area offers spectacular scenery combined with wildlife viewing opportunities. If we are lucky we might see a few elk, a moose, or maybe even a beaver or a family of otters. On this tour you will travel approximately 30-35 miles roundtrip on the snowmobile, along the main Greys River and the little Greys River. We will follow the trail through the wide open McCain meadows, and up and over Bull Hollow for some spectacular views of the Wyoming and Salt River Mountain Ranges. Our Greys River half-day tour is a great place for the novice rider to enjoy snowmobiling off-the beaten path, and a terrific tour for those looking to escape the crowds!

Price:
$325.00 per single rider (first rider on the snowmobile)
$200.00 per adult passenger (second rider on the snowmobile)
$150.00 per child passenger

Fantastic!

My husband and I took 2 separate tours, one to Yellowstone the other to Greys River! Our guide Christian was wonderful and knew exactly what time to be where!! Both trips & the views were nothing short of spectacular! We chose this company for it being family owned! We were treated like we’d known them forever, even though we are Arctic Cat owners!! Thank you Old Faithful for memories to last our lifetime!

Packing List

What to Wear:

Come dressed in layers. We recommend you follow the 3-layer system; a moisture wicking base layer (long sleeve top and underwear), and 2 insulating mid-layers (like a wool or fleece sweater and/or a light down or PrimaLoft jacket) for warmth. Always wear synthetic or wool materials for base- and mid-layers, no cotton. Be careful and do not wear too many pairs of socks; just wear one pair of heavy wool socks to promote good circulation.
