
Winter Access & Season
Oversnow Season:
- Yellowstone opens to snowmobile travel December 15th (snow conditions permitting). View YNP Roads page.
- Season ends March 15th at 9:00pm when all park roads close to oversnow travel
- Most park roads are completely closed to auto travel from early November through late April
- Only the North Entrance (Gardiner to Cooke City via Tower Junction) remains open to cars year-round
Spring Road Opening:
- West Entrance projected to open to auto travel April 17th
- South Entrance projected to open to auto travel May 8th

Our Yellowstone Experience
Environmental Responsibility: As an authorized permittee, we take great care to minimize our impact. We use environmentally-friendly four-stroke snowmobiles that are cleaner, quieter, and designed specifically for park conditions.
28+ Years of Experience: Our guides know every thermal feature, every wildlife hotspot, and every perfect photo opportunity. They understand how winter weather affects the park and can adapt routes for the best possible experience.
Park Requirements:
- All drivers must be 16+ with valid driver’s license (Park Service requirement)
- Passengers must be 8+ years old
- Park entrance fees: $50 per snowmobile, $20 per passenger (waived with National Park Pass)
