Continental Divide’s Deepest Snow
Trip Overview
This is a full day adventure for the snowmobile enthusiast!
Your day starts at our office in the town of Jackson, after we get your gear picked out, you will then travel 39 miles North of Jackson by van to the BlackRock trailhead. This is a beautiful drive up through Grand Teton National Park and Buffalo Valley; keep your eyes peeled for elk, buffalo, bald eagles, a fox or coyote, and if you’re feeling real lucky you might even be able to see a moose or a wolf pop out of the willows! Once we arrive at the trailhead where our snowmobiles are parked at your guide will give you an introduction on the snowmobile and go over the safety protocols.
During your snowmobile tour you will travel around 60-75 miles roundtrip up on Togwotee Mountain Pass. The options are endless on this Continental Divide Trail System that offers over 600 miles of groomed trails. Along this endless trail system this tour offers a few fun off trail play areas (snow and visibility conditions pending) and lunch at the Togwotee Mountain Lodge or Turpin Meadow Ranch about halfway during your day. As you gain elevation during the day, under blue skies and through the backcountry you will be overlooking beautiful mountain views, including the Grand Teton, Absaroka and Wind River Mountain Ranges.
